Always Meet Your Enemies
They say never meet your heroes - but you should always meet your enemies.
The rule behind never meeting your heroes is that you’ll likely be disappointed by them.
You hold them in such high regard, and the illusion is sometimes shattered when you find out they’re normal, like you.
The same can be said for your enemies. You hold them in high regard too.
Their negative opinions and actions against you, seem to be coming from an elevated place of power, knowledge and authority.
Why else would they be publicly against you?
However, when you meet them, when you see how weak they are, how pathetic they are and how much conviction they lack - their opinion washes off you.
In your physical presence, they often shrivel like a penis in a cold plunge, because it’s very rare that the same people who pose reputational threats can also pose physical threats too.
You start to realise that you should have never given this person power over you at all. Their opinion is now worthless - because you have no desire to covet the admiration of someone so immoral or pathetic.
