How I Cleared $20,000 of Debt in 18 Months
All of this, with a normal 9 to 5
All of this, with a normal 9 to 5

I used to have a cumulated debt of £16,000, that’s just over $20,000. By following these steps, I was able to clear myself of all debt in less than 18 months, whilst working a normal 9 to 5 job.
This is how…
I stopped eating take-out and cooked all my meals at home.
I kept my old iPhone 7 plus, that works, instead of buying the newest phone.
I drove (and still drive) a 12-year-old car because it has zero monthly payments and is still working.
I stopped buying new clothes I didn’t need.
I said yes to overtime on weekends, even though I was tired.
When I put the value on future freedom, instead of present materialistic goods, it was easy to sacrifice for 18 months to clear that debt completely.
With that mindset instilled, when I finally became debt-free, I was able to set aside all of my extra monthly cash to savings and investments. It’s not easy, but it is possible.
